Meet Demitu
We had the pleasure of visiting Demitu, a mother who is working multiple jobs to provide for her family and support her ill husband. She welcomed us with a traditional coffee ceremony. A twenty minute process that involved preparing the fire, washing the beans and roasting them before crushing them and then place them on fire where she added water and let it sit for a few minutes. It was the best cup of coffee I've had.
